FW-190 Guillow's Conversion (kit 502)
Hey Everybody. I'm new to Guillow's conversions, and I'm working on a 16.5" span FW-190 (kit 502). It's 110 grams without the battery, and I was getting a bit concerned about the weight. I was wondering about whether:
1) I should remove the landing gear (about 10-15 grams)
2) I should use a Li-po or high amperage rechargeable AAAs.
Oh yeah, This is what's inside it:
Art-Tech 6ch micro receiver,
2 Blue Arrow 4.3g micro servos,
18 amp ESC (was lying around so decided to use it)
Small brushless outrunner (also lying around, forgot what it really was, but it's of the DT-2 type )
Welcome aboard RCG QasimZ!
Not that I've done one of the 500 series models but here is a friend who did the Fw190 #502
And here are some others who've done the 500 series.
