Kjell, when is your Stinger due to arrive? I'm still waiting for the Precision to show up, which obviously will be much better...

I got Stinger a month ago and fly several rounds. It's definitely faster than Dingo and sensitive with the wind.
If you want nothing but fast, Stinger would not let you down.
I got two video of Stinger running F3F, enjoy

Thanks for posting nice videos of the Stinger. Can you also take a picture of the servo installation in the fuselage? Is the ballast system the same as Dingo?

Since the thick of the wing is less than Dingo, the ballast is not the same.

The ballast solution is the same as Dingo, 6 pcs on the wing joiner 2 pcs on wing.
But the dimension of ballast is different from Dingo.

The ballast design still not change, but the problem can be easily solved.
1.Round tape out side the ballast or use heat-shrinkable sleeve to pack it.
2.Put a piece of sponge into the wing joiner hole of the wing

The annoying sound would disappear.

My Stinger has arrived!

Received my Stinger a couple of days ago. Mine is carbon with an extra layer of 54g fiberglass outside. It is also Double carbon D-box. I`ve ordered it with extra carbon in the spar and joiner... The result is an extremely stiff wing. Vaclav aparently decided that the stiff wing had to be complemented by a stiff tail, and made me one in full carbon. The tail is still very light! Fit and finish is A+. The Stinger is designvise more in line with the current top planes out there than the older VV models, with a superslim fuselage and a narrow chord wing. I ordered mine without RDS, which means that I`m going to have the linkages showing on the topside of the wing. Fortunately I have a mould for fairings laying around in the workshop somewhere...

Numbers:

Left wing: 615g
Right wing: 622g
Left tailplane: 37,1g
Right tailplane: 37,3g
Fuselage: 237g
Nosecone: 37,2g
Joiner: 99,4g

Total empty weight: 1685g (Not bad considering the layup)

This will get the MKS threatment...

I also received an Ascot fuselage with tail. This will be mated to a repaired Furio wing that I have from a "famous" crash in WR2010.. -This will be electrified...

Wow, me want one.
Vaclav is genius.
Loving my Ascot, still my sports model of choice.
If the stinger is anything like any of the other Vaclav Models then its going to be stonking.

What are we talking for a F3B Model ?
