HK 450tt pro for a begginer?

Hi! I Have A Friend For This Hobby, he's a begginer too, and that friend got a hk450tt pro.
he really enjoy it, he crash i very often, but he got around 20 spare blades, plus he doesnt crash really serius (he broke only 2 blades, one because he used WOODIE Blades, and the second was stock GF blades, crashed at the beggining).
And Doesnt have lot of strokes!

So he told me That It Really Good Heli, and he told me that it will be cool to have a partner (Me).

What Do You think? he Told Me He Got everything Plus Shipping For 200$!

Should I Get One?

have you ever flown a rc heli before? preferable a fixed pitch heli, if not dont get it as a first heli at all! you will crash often and its just annoying, get something like a blade msr, or a sim and once you awsome at that, dont get the tt as the torque tube, is a very easy thing to brake in a crash, get a normal hk450, with some metal head parts, but mostly plastic, to keep cost repairs down, and get lots of spare parts, like feathing shafts, gears, main shafts, flybar and paddles, tail booms and one aluminium tail section and your set, otherwise you will crash your heli easily and get frustrated after the 5th consecutive crash and you cant figure out whats wrong.

It's hard to believe anyone could crash a 450 and break nothing but blades.

yeh that would be good, but ied actuly recommend the 27 dollar one iev got with sime metal rotor head parts, becasue the plastic parts act as week links in a crash, and the carbon airframe on the pro cant be unbent in a crash were a aluminium can =D. you should look out for little things like that in a first cp heli, but i still stand by saying a cp heli is not a good beginner heli.

Any Simulator,,,,, is not even close to the real thing!!!! IMO a simulator is about 1/2 as hard to fly as the real thing....!!!!

real flight is probably 95 percent accurate, but thats just the helis and planes the air is always perfect and so are the helis, which is almost imposible to get.

I beg to differ... phoenix seems to me to be much more realistic with the helicopter physics

4Anket2 - It's either the 450Pro or 450Gt - I would suggest the 450Gt.
I fly the 450Pro but the Gt is easier and cheaper to maintain
