Good question. I assumed it was just a stabilizer and seperate from the FPV expander. but could be wrong.

Bill, please tell us if this Guardian is going to provide an AHI in all modes of operation and not just during "full stabilization" mode.

Thanks,

Rob

Am I right in thinking that the RTH on my OSD pro wont work very well on a flying wing?

You don't seem to have many offers for beta testing in the UK yet so I better volunteer

No that is not correct. RTH works perfectly on my modified stryker. There is a wing type in the RTH setup. Just start off with very mild settings.

BUT you must have a stabilizer on board. I have been using the Copilot II, others are using the FY product, and most of us are eagerly awaiting this new guardian stabilizer.

best wishes

Sorry, meant to say without stabilizer, but will wait on this one to keep things simple.

I do have a CSM cyclock I could use with a pair of gyros.

Is the new stabilizer going to be vibration sensitive like the FY products?
I have not had an issue with my planes... but I know some do.

No, it is separate from the FPV expander, which is still underway.

Yes, all modes. The two features are completely independent.

Will this work with other OSDs?
If other OSD vendors contact us about supporting it, we'd certainly discuss it with them.

Nobody's squirming more than me to get this released. Things are going very well - I won't commit publicly to an earlier date, though. That will curse things. Yesterday's test flights were pretty thrilling - imagine an aerobatic wing on rails.

It's been pri 0 to ensure maximum resistance to vibration. We've come up with some amusing ways to test this, and things are looking great.

Now I'm using FY20 on my plane and always was thinking if the ET ODS Pro can support stabilization with its RTH then no need running cables from OSD Pro to FY20, This would be fantastic to keep the system simple.

I'm in for a beta tester.

Bill, looks like another awesome product from Eagle Tree. Please sign me up as a beta tester. I will test it in comparison to my FY-20A, as soon as it comes back from China having been repaired. He he.

Can't wait for this and the Eagle Link.

I can't believe I missed this post!

I'm building a glider for long range flight and was expecting using the FY-20A with my OSDpro.

The Guardian is less expensive for that already own the OSDpro. Exactly what I need!
