Making mischief in the air

NS - that is lovely and hopefully those that gave you a hard time on the "other" thread are back in their kennels now.

Seeing one flying at the Yeovil airshow last year was a 2010 highpoint for me.
90mm Size is too big for me personally i've no chance of flying something that big, but it's beautifull model an I hope it's shown in RAF colours in due course.

Later this year i think the previous post said , i can wait , i definately wont be buying the 90mm though but im sure either the company you represent or the chinese will produce one in a more widely used size making it more suitable for the majority.

Any word on flight flight characteristics of the Venom? I'm rather new to EDFs and building my first jet. The Airfield F-16 Falcon Tiger Edition. Any idea how much experience I'd need before I could tackle this jet?

I actually got to see a Vampire fly at an airshow years ago. It was all black. Very cool jet.

Can't wait to see it the Venom here in the US.

90 mm is the way to go, prices of lipos are now reasonable enough and 1.4mtr span is not big. I like it but please lets have it in British colours and as someone has pointed out with decent servos thanks. Now,what about a 120 sized version!

Absolutely agree! Lot's of us already fly one of the FlyFly jets and already have all the needed cells!

And please eliminate the panel lines, most of us will customize such a ship, and the first thing to go is the overdone panel lines. And I hate sanding...
Have just finalized a 737 with a fuse length of 174cm so I know what I'm talking about.

What fan is planned for this plane. I would certainly replace it with a wemo midifan

I'm planning on pulling my 90mm Wemo out of the Fly Fly Mirage for this one. Mine uses 5s power on a 600-43 I think but I'm pretty sure it'll give nice scale looking flights.

At last.....a big respect, finally a foamy EDF worth getting really excited about [for me], please, please, please DON'T put the decals on, the thought of flying a venom in Swiss colours in the UK just doesn't seem right, you have a sale from me, no doubt about it.

Looks nice!

Neversommer: I would like a bit clarifying about the shipping and taxes from Ready2Fly.
Switzerland is not a part of EU->getting a parcel from Switzerland hits customs right away here (Finland) and adds 23% VAT + toll.

So it would be really convenient if the shipping would happen inside EU borders->price would be acceptable.

Distribution in Europe and the US

Hey guys...

The Venom will also be available in "silver" painted only and as Kit version including the electronic retract! is building up his new distribution center in Germany which will be ready in March. So all Europe will be distributed directly from our German warehouse!

For the US we are organizing our new warehouse - so we should be ready this summer for distribution out of USA. The first venoms will be available around June!

We will add the Venom on our website "" during this week for placing preorders :-)

A US warrehouse! That is great news. I'll finally be able to get this I hope. I've wanted one since I saw it on the web site. No one here in the US carries it.
