Same here
Biaggi did good last season (had a great bike!) but not a big fan of him. Looking forward to the start of the season

I believe it's BMW's time this year, with Haslam or Toseland maybe... not excluding "my" last year's fav. Troy Corser...

Hated Haslam on the Suzuki, Like him on the BMW !

Checa is a Moto GP vet so he ranks high too!

Anyone of these boys for the Championship.

I hope Haga wins this year. He's been so close so many times that it's long over due.He has to do it this year if not it ain't gonna happen.

There's a wealth of talent in WSBK this year... and to pick a winner is going to be hard...

Take out injury, and mechanical failure issues...
add in the "who I'd LIKE to win" factor...
devide by the amount of factory machines...
subtract the guys that I simply don't care for that much...

now multiply the numbers of riders that use Perrelli tyres, by the amount of pistons that Aprilia will use for this season...

and there's your answer...

It will be...
Ozzy Troy Corser... or Ozzy Chris Vermuelin... or Ozzy Mark Aitcheson... or Ozzy Bryan Starring...

But in all honesty... I recon Marco Melandri could be the man... He's still pretty young... got an absolute wealth of experience... and I like him...

And then there's Checa...

aaarrrggg.... I'm sticken with Melandri... yep that's it... pencil me in... Marco Melandri to be WSBK Champion with one round to spare...

Corser and BMW to win. Back up Haslam. Bike needs a little more development.

Melandri and Yamaha, in with a chance, bike is sorted and he has the experience.

Chris Vermeulen and Kawasaki, injuries aside.

Cheers

Hmm you guys trying to pick the ponies huh....

Ok I'll play

Checa for the Championship - proven bike and good rider with loads of experience and has to win to keep his stock high.

Second - Biaggi - love him or hate him he is fast and very hungry to defend the championship

Third - Corser or one of the BMW's - cause they just need something to happen for them and 3rd is pretty good for them still. Not convinced they can win the title just yet.

Should start a fantasy SBK or MotoGP league of our own!

I like Corser too i just don't see it happening with the BMW. If I had to pic.... Melandri is look like he's gonna do the business. Although i'll say i wasn't to excited about the 1st round of superbikes. But did anybody see the supersport race. Man that was insane especially on the last lap dash to the finish line.

Yeah that was classic Phillip Island racing... In all classes...
If you can get a decent break, you can usually keep it if you're on similar pace to the next group... But if you're in the group, then it's hard to get away...
And the run into, and out of the final turn is all important... And not often best to be leading there...

Great to see some racing going on again... Seems like forever... And now we have to wait another month...

Marco Marco he's own man... if he can't do it Checa can...

Some very good racing again... and looks like the pace of superpole doesn't really convert to the races so far... though Checa won from pole, Melandri came from the third row...

And what's goin on Biaggi..? he was all over the shop in race one... and then didn't come in for a ride through in race two... not the best way to defend your title...

And the new Kawasaki looks a treat... I hope Vermuelin is fit for the next round...

The BMW's seem to be suffering in the second half of the race still... shame coz Haslam was lookin good...
