Does the 4315-714 Motor need spacers?
I have the 4315-480 and it needed 15mm spacers? I believe they are the same size

I read it somewhere but can't find it now.
I know it is ultra coat and I believe the orange is part # HANU877! White is HANU870, silver is HANU881, Black is HANU874

but to be safe check with 3DHS

I used 1/2 in spacers and 2 aluminum washers on my 714 , its a little too much as the space between the cowl and spinner is too much .

Maidened mine today , Very nice ! need to fine tune the cg and throws , maybe go from a 15x7 to a 15x8 , and its good to go ....crazy vertical as it is ! i did switch out the wheels fron the 2 in to 2 3/4 in cause the dirt strip i fly from is getting soft , and on the first landing kinda just stuck on touchdown ...2 3/4 still fit inside the wheel pants ...

On mine 1/4 in spacer would be too little , my spinner/cowl gap is .170 with a 1/2 in. spacer and 2 thin (.043) aluminum washers , i like the washer there to stop the spacer from digging into the wood , otherwise id remove both washers , if/when i remove the motor , ill take one washer out and call it good ...

Thanks GG!!

I think the red is True Red by Hangar 9 (HANU866)

I sent a note to 3DHS, but know they are pretty busy, hopefully they will confirm colors!

Once I get the colors, I can wrap it up and fly again!!!

Thanks for the kind words,, it took lots of time and i tried hard to only relpace what was needed,, I only added about 4" of 1/4" wide, and very thin light plywood,

I got the new CF rods in her, and now it ready for final inspection and to CA the motor box, cover and bolt the motor on and strap on the ESC and fly!! (CG of course!)
