Do you know if the 6 channel will fit without removal of the plastic case?

That makes as far as anybody can say, Last week George was the overall 2nd best DLG Pilot on the Planet Earth. And that's about as good as it gets.

And Flying his Concepts for the Entire Event.

I'm proud to know the Morris Bros.,

Thanks Walt, and Ditto, George and I very much enjoy flying with you and Buddy!

I got to meet Roland in Sweden and he is a class act. His gliders are second to none, especially in craftsmanship. The fit and finish is excellent, the performance speaks for itself as I watched it fly with the other DLGs during the WC. I am very proud of George's accomplishment and I am honored that I was able to call for him.

Hey, Thanks for the kudos Mike!

I always look forward to flying with you and know that you are the guy to try and beat. (maybe someday... ) As for CX2's, that is a very good possibility. I just have to pay GMo for the last 2 Stobel's he helped me get for the Nordic Cup contest and then I can start saving pennies for some Concepts. Of course I had to tell Roland the same. I might be able to get a CX2 or two for next year.

Hey John, Do you really need to ballast it? Even when its quite windy, getting home requires some serious diving to penetrate... If you have significant wind and good lift, then I would say that ballast would be a good thing. But if conditions are usually such that the lift is week when its windy, I would say don't ballast, launch as high as you can, and only seek off field upwind or to the side. Only go down wind as far as you must, but can still get home. The reason for this is that if you follow a thermal moving fast downwind, and not climbing very fast, you may reach a height that would normally get your target time unless because you need to penetrate into the wind, you have to dive which greatly increases your sink rate, and leaves you on the field, short of altitude to get that target time. High wind minimum sink conditions require a strategy that almost precludes flying downwind.

Food for thought.

How are you doing anyway? Hope to see you and PeeWee and Rowdy next year in Poway.

What's been the typical wait time on getting these shipped to the US after ordering. Are you guys going right to Roland for placing orders? The website is kinda clunky, maybe im not looking in the right spot

launch low, fly high
Email Roland for ordering, and understanding backlog times.

As to ballast, I found that the Concept carries ballast very well. The two times I flew it in the flyoffs, I was carrying 60 g. Not the smartest move as the two rounds were "turn-around" tasks, but I wanted to have the plane capable of moving around in the active conditions. As a comparison, the most ballast I flew in the Stobel was around 45 g.

Herby my best regards to all I had the honor to meet in Sweden and to all of you who didn't have the chance to come.
I will sent my thanks for the wonderful friendship I could experience during my stay, which will be in my memory forever.

Sorry my post is coming with some delay, but Computer problems and tonns of e-mails which finally crashed my inbox kept me bussy for a while....

Here is a link to all my photos I have downloaded from my camera:

Hope you can find some pictures which might be interesting to you.

Hi Roland,
Looks like your link has a feedback loop in it.
No Photos, and clicking on the Link just reloads this RC Groups Page.
