That B-47 made a few visits to Plant 42, mostly for touch-and-goes. I got a few of it.

The label say Katana... sounds like a Volkswagen motor inside.
I believe the gas tank capacity is 8 gallons. Good for a lot of distance I would expect.

I remember seeing a lot of Katanas coming into the small local field where I lived in Arizona. I think they were powered by the Rotax 912, a relatively inexpensive horizontally opposed 4

I know right where Plant 42 is, spent a lot of time at Lockeed working on flight testing a radar for the F-104. Good ol days, (I think)
