A imitation eflite Park 400 is what I run on mine and it barely ever goes above 2/3 throttle. Headsuprc.com is a great source for cheap motors- based in Florida and superfast shipping is $2.99 for just about everything but big kits.

Some guys tend to get them pretty heavy so you can also go with a 450 class motor. They run 30 amp esc and a 10 x 6

Geobat 40"

Well what I am planing to build is a 40"

I am very busy at the day job.

I had a buddy cut me a set of fuse.

I plan on lighting it up, and having a good time flying in my yard.

I will keep ya updated

Not Geobats , just ONE single Geobat.

As requested by a friend who is also a customer.

It is not an advertised product.
It is not even an under the counter product.

It was from the 40" plans which have no disclaimer.

I had no idea that my action was going to upset you so much, or at all for that matter.

I also do not recall negotiating over mfg fees, royalties or whatever.
I am NOT one of the Guys from California !
Maybe it was someone else.

So that everyone knows ...
I have apologized and made an offer to make a, yet to be determined, remuneration.

All my offerings have been OK'd by their designers.
Including Maybz, Chara, Vleisie, Otto Dieffenbach, F&T , J Titan, et al.

I finally got back to work on the old Pink bat..........
That is a whopper e-flight clone 480 on there....
It will use a Icon A5 prop but is on order....
I am gonna add Polaris Like hulls on the bottom of the fuselages so it will do sliding takeoffs and landings, Maybe even fly off of water.... we'll see.

Geobat

looks great

I have been moving my hobby room upstairs, and I am just about done!
I have a brand new main working table. So I plan on to start work on the Geobat tonight.

would the thrust force the plane nose down? or its done to offset the CG?

wondering why the prop is way above the wings?

I moved it up High because I'm converting the twin fuselages to floats...well more like a twin hulled flying boat.
I flew it.... if you jack the throttle in hard it does push the nose down, but it's not that bad.......
I'm interested in knowing, with up or down thrust would it minimize that characteristic?

Yes , thats Glen Baker. He talks about a guy on the GeoBat team, that was me. He built it several years ago. We have remained pen pals ever since.

Dan... Download a free copy of cute pdf writer. It acts like a printer. Just open "cute PDF" when you print, save the pdf, then post it. Others can then print it out any size they want.
Gotta love these Geo Bats!

Cheers Poweredlawndart will sort that out

Thanks for the compliments Mud duck Bill
