$369.99, ouch.

When they first blogged it I was keen, expecting a nice product at Hobbyking prices, not quite so much now

It would need as many dollars in motor , ESC and batteries at Hobbyking prices as well (which I expected considering its designed for a 26 cc petrol motor.

Maybe one of these on 40S lipo

I have no doubt that the Swash drive fans, and any hard core
RC sprint boat enthusiast will be chomping at the bit to get one.

The Swash Drive was about $500.00 Au IIRC, made just around the corner from me.

The Graupners are toys in comparison to the Swash Drive

Electric would need 10S Li-po A 150 amp speedy and 400 Kv motor minimum to match a mod Zenoah, for a weedy motor a 270 Kv motor still on 10 s but you could probably get away with 100 amp speedy

That needs a nice petrol V-8 to spin it.

If it's R/C, it's all good.

A Conley V8 in a boat with that drive under it would be nuts.

A Conley V-8 along with the Jet Drive!!!! Somebody would have to hit the lottery big time or my wife would be measuring me for a coffin.

Wow, that Conley V8 seems like a pretty fierce engine (been away from the R/C world for awhile, and had to google it )
Stinger 609 Test Run (1 min 23 sec)

Bet that thing would sound pretty wicked set up in a boat. I wonder if they have any plans for a scale HD I/O outdrive
