Hey Jim, I love your podcasts and watch them while Im driving around...or listen. I was wondering, as an avid builder, if maybe sometime you guys could hit on the kit scene and maybe inspire others to build ? Maybe a podcast about the different kit manufactures out there and how to get into kit building.

I have to agree. Having flown only foamies for the few years I have been in the hobby, a club member gave me a Sig T-Clips which is my first built-up plane.
It needs some TLC that will teach me new skills (Ultracote repair) and with winter coming, has me thinking about actually building something.

Somewhat related is the topic of electric conversion. What if you find a kit you love that was designed for wet fuel? What are the things to consider and how to approach making the switchover.

Tons of threads on nitro to E conversion here. I think there is actually a sub forum for it.
Mainly just building a battery tray where the fuel tank would originally go and hatch above that.

I'm experiencing a strange issue as a builder, but this can pertain to any part of the rc world. How about a discussion on the show about the usage of logos, trademarks, pics, copyrighted materials and the legalities of the material on our rc machines? Be them homemade, commercially produced, ect, and maybe find a legal guy to query? Most recently there has been some controversy about me making and using Red Bull material on my Extra 300s build.

Jason,

Thanks for the information on the wire stripper. I ordered one from Amazon immediately. It also reminded me I wanted to buy a good set of HD diacs, so I ordered them too.

We went to Shorty's last year, I believe it was on your recommendation, and it was great.
