That would be going wildly off-topic, and it's such an important point it really needs a thread all to itself, rather than getting distracted by people talking about a plane.

Just got back from flying mine in some mild gusty winds. Plane looks incredible and flys much heavier than the other ultra micros. Did a couple loops, rolls, split s, immelman, inverted just for fun. I had Hyperion 180s in and felt that the plane was very tail heavy and could not trim it out with my dx8. I am going to try the stock battery and some Hyperion 240s. Was getting 5 minute flights with the 180s with throttle management so 5 plus at full throttle with the 240s should be possible. Will write more detail on the flight report later but I'm on my iPhone and off to gym and dinner with wife so I just wanted to put something up for everyone at home dying to hear more about the new plane.

Flew mine in mild wings but gusts got interesting with gusts. It was a quick flight due to plans with friends but it was awesome. I flew using Hyperion 320mah and it was definitely tail heavy, even with the larger battery. Landed her just fine in the snow, hopefully some wheels on action tomorrow! Looking forward to wringing her out tonight.

Did you fly with two Hyperion 180s in a parallel harness Or just using one Hyperion 180 ? I think if you were only using one Hyperion 180, using two would definately balance it out better and give much longer flight times.

Thanks.

I have a bunch of Turnigy 160s. Two of them together weigh 8.7 grams vs 8.4 grams for the stock eflite. they fit in the compartment well too. Id like to make a parrallel harness for them. Is it as simple as running both batteries to one connector or is there more to it?

New 2-to-1 parallel battery harness

I just mocked up a prototype of a 2-to-1 1S harness so you can use two of your existing UM batteries in parallel for the Mosquito.

Pix below - see my blog for more details! Available immediately on my site.

Thanks,

Glenn

PS - thanks to Butter_Fingers for suggesting this product a few days ago!
