Yes, sadly no Documentary Challenge, we were ready for it this year. Anyhow, we all have a chance to brighten up the Deliverable 2 and 3 video just for fun... that is what we will do in case our just delivered deliverable 1 will allow us to proceed to D2 and then to D3

Good luck to all of the participants this and next year, the challenge is challenging as ever...

Each year the standard of the competition has raised significantly!
Next year will be no different. Experience is what will win it.
I think next year it will be decided using a tape measure!

Hey Mick, How many D1's did they receive?

This Is my first year entering the challenge as well as my first few months living in Australia you mentioned that they have changed the format? how was it before?

Does anyone know when they will release the numbers for the 2011 -12 challenge? would be nice to know how many people submitted their D1.

Also is there any place where I can see all the numbers from previous years?

Hi Mark,

Could we know team's names and origin?

Our team do not have any objection to disclose our team's name, origin or website.

If were not possible to know it from OBC committe, I ask if is allowed to disclose it directly here at thread.

Regards

Hey Barry,

We had to make a last minute firmware change (which was to do with communications....etc) and we didn’t get a chance to fully test it.
So we played it safe. We didn’t want to risk it going into failsafe and destroying the UAV and whatever it might of crashed into.

We tested it after the comp and it was fine!

But still, as the old saying goes….. much better to be safe than sorry!

There is always next year!

Cheers!
