Airbrush

I ordered a Paasche "H" airbrush from Amazon and having then completely lost all self control, went to Harbor Freight and bought the 3 gallon adjustable compressor which supposedly gives a consistent pressure for spraying. I have been wanting to paint the Genesis for quite awhile so this should be a fun project. Any recommendations for paint and primer?

1" bi lateral ( packaging ) tape and
1" singular package tape !!
Never heard of 1" tape before... the 3 or 4" (think it is 3"?) is at Home Depot.. not Lowes... but the single direction stuff is at Staples across the street for a decent price... like $5 or $6 a roll. the Bi stuff is outrageous at like $14+ a roll. Tom thought Wall-Mart might have it, but I never saw any there where I looked. Tons of the Duct fake garbage stuff but no fiber tapes of any kind.

Chuck.. Paints as far as I have seen (no real experence to speak of other then the water base stuff!) the automotive type works best for glass. Lays on nice and smooth, but still experementing myself. Saw the HF brushes the other day and was going to tell you about them, but bet they are not good quality. and the junk is not worth your time.

Where do you get your paint? You once mentioned a place in your area that had auto paints but I don't remember the name.

That turned out great!! Love the color and shapes.

Now that it is ready, you killed all the lift for 3 months. It's all Jordan's fault!!!

Rick
The instruction on that plane need to be updated. 600mah was an old AA NiCad size, a very outdated battery. I do carry a square AA battery pack, but it now packs 2000mah into the same size battery. I have flat packs on the way also. Dick was asking the same question the other day.

Dick,

The stuff from Home Depot is the cheapest I've found. It's just under $9 a roll and is 2" wide. I'd go with 1 strip on the bottom across the LE and one across the top with about 1/4" overlap, that way you have a reasonable "bumper" to protect the LE and tape the entire fuse with at least one layer. I'd get 2 rolls they seem to go fast on foamie builds ...
