Try reversing either the servo connector, or the battery connector, you just might have the wires crossed on one of the connections, I had the same problem

I can't fly anything hot (like the Banana 1.8) with virtual sticks... never can get back to center properly and end up rolling right into the bluff :P Give the Tilt (accelerometer) controller a try.

The PC version with a real Tx is far, far, better though ;-)

When i turn on the plane the receiver's LED glows red, good, i then turn on the controller, its LED glows red and then beeps 4 times indicating the link was successful. But then the controller's blue LED glows solid on and the red LED starts to flicker.

I hope someone can shed some light on this problem, i would love to get back to flying this awesome plane. Attached are some photos.
Welcome Alex. I was having a similar problem because I too my transmitter out of scan mode. This link helped me solve my issues. My T/X was an Aurora 9 but it uses the same T/X module is the Optic 6.

Lars would have to chime in if I'm wrong.
The one keith speaks of is faces SE and is a rare wind spot, The one tommy is speaking of is faces NE. both are finicky. Athough there are one or 2 more santa ana spots I have not flown in a long while that are also in the Top of The World area but takes fire trail hiking to get there.

Yeah, I like the ASW.. It is a little more controllable on the phones. The hotter planes are not phone friendly. Be sure you make the virtual sticks as big as you can, helps tame it down some.

Wind got better or my balls got bigger not sure which. Not satisfied with the CG shift results but then again, I was flying on butterfly farts. Trying to upload some video and will post when done.

Video 1

Mamba @ Pt. Fermin 1/17/2013 1st & 2nd flight after CG moved back to 6.75", wind SSW 3-5mph (1 min 47 sec)

Note it does take courage to toss off of this cliff in such light conditions so please don't knock my first tuck tail and run flight.

Video 2

Mamba @ Pt. Fermin 1/17/2013 3rd flight after CG moved back to 6.75", wind SSW 3-5mph (3 min 58 sec)

I tried some inverted here and am still on the fence about it. Might need to move the CG back further, but I'll wait till I've had a chance to fly it in a little stronger conditions.

Midway through I think, there is a point I tried a dive test. It's looks pretty neutral but it might have tucked ever so slightly. Hard to tell, will have to review the video when I have more time. I did note a tip stall when I moved elevator to high rates for a second. I think that was around 3/4 through clip and at the far turn.
