Jordan, we came down to water tanks and there was nothing. We ended up farting around over by the VW dealership (flag pole).

Lilly was looking pretty good. I need to get checked out there! I had my new to me Samurai, Typhoon, Fox and wing and only got to fly my low lift wing today.

Slightly windy at my office in San Clemente. Probably good depending on direction.

Why did I not load the Kawasaki into my truck his morning! I have a KA-6 in the backseat, but it may be a bit windy for those flexy wings.

Today was great up at Salvador. 15-20mph had some good combat with a great crowd. Although I'm pretty bummed, my Gulp had a servo quit right at the top of a stall turn !! It dove straight down from about 30ft and hit the concrete dead-on and bounced about 8 ft high. I'm soo glad I put those extra coats of goop on the fuse, it came out unscathed. But I had to take it all apart to find the source of the issue , which was a burnt out HS-82MG . I'm gonna clean it off and send it into Hitec.

What really ticks me off, is that the servo is only a couple months old, and was working just fine before I tossed it. I'm just glad it didn't fly into a house or wayy down the hill...

By the time I got to Lilly's this afternoon it was not that good. It seemed to be coming from a couple different directions. I flew the M60 loaded and had fun for a few minutes but nothing like predicted. Keith and Lars came down, so Keith got checked off today. : )There were times where it just shut off.
I bet it was real nice about 11:00 or 12:00 today.
Tom
