After a reboot the green LED next to the FTDI port needs to be solid.
It flashes after you armed the motors. If it constantly flashes after reboot then there's something wrong with the IMU connection/wiring.

while trimming the arduino nano flashes red one or 2 times every trimming point.

think the flyduino does that too.

frame is on the way.
There is no red led on the Flyduino, the led is green in this case.
The guys said the right things, led should flash when you trim, but i cant comment much on it dont use the copter trimming, only RX trimming.

Hi,
just a short question (dunno if the topic was on yet):
I use a spakrfun USB FTDI breakout board.
Can I connect it to the Flyduino and PC while the Lipo is connected or do i have to build myself a converter without 5V connection?
I don't want to damage anything.

Thanks
Nils

ps.: where can I find prop directions fpr Multiwii and QuadX??

You can connect the FTDI with or without lipo connected. The USB/FTDI should power the board correctly unless your USB out of the PC doesn't deliver enough juice.

Flydusense LLC BOB not working

Hi Paul,

got my shipment yesterday with the Flyduspider center plates and the Flydusense BOB LLC.

The Flyduspider center plates were looking great! So, when will you release the rest of the frame kit? Would be interested in buying a set!

Well, the sad point was the Flydusense, since the LLC was not working! I had to resolder all components due to a bad soldering connection (looks like your mounting the parts by hand using a soldering iron?).

In addition, I would love to see some docu on the various connectors. It wasn't a big deal to figure it out, but I think it might be usefull for others.

So, here's what the BOB is looking like now:

Thanks.
The batt plate will be here soon, arms are ordered but will take a bit.
Oh no not another not working llc, yes you are right the llcs i solder by hand.
But guess on what i worked today, a nice bob for the imu you showed
I normally like smd a lot more then trough hole, but i will switch to through hole and will sell them as kits, just the 2 mosfets and 2 resistors to solder, it maybe better the people care for theirself, to solder some parts and some connectors is easy, but to do a whole batch is anoying and leads to failures, sorry for that, i am glad that so able people are here who figgure out most of their problems themself or even better help others with their knowledge, cool.
Some build docimentation is still planned but not made, sry.
BTW, Fabio and Jussi will release new IMU boards soon (2 weeks) but i decided to also support the atmel imu.

oh and beside the atavr, i made a new gps bob (which still need a bit).
Decided to support the good ol fmp04 and this one

I know desaster suggested a Fastrax but i want to stick with inbuild antennas, as they are the most proeblematic part and the "allinone" GPS modules have mostly nice antenna designs.
What is your opinion?
