So which one should i try first?
Andy
with the apc sfp 14x4.7 i have of course more thrust. i lifted 2kg of payload. i use 3s. after normal flying the motors are cold.
for 4s the 12x4.5 could be enough. but u have to test it on your copter.

Also: those full stops at high speed into a hover or a flip. Great!
Found a new favorite toy, eh?

thanks guys
flighttime was arround 3:30min till battery was completely empty. full throttle for 90% of the flying time calls for his victims

At least it was 3.30min of pure fun - and not 5min of boredom if I had flown that beast.

What does "Empty" mean here? How low are you going with the voltage?

I try not to harm my Lipos by setting the LIP alarm to a very High value but sometimes my charger puts 2200mAh into the Lipo, so it was totally depleted.

I should test the powermeter.

@Paul,
you can add the dimension of the arm for the flyduspider with 10" Propellers in your shop?
I have added 5cm for mount 10" propellers in my FLYDUSPIDER, but i don't know if the geometry it's compromised...

Black FreeIMU and black Promini on a black board:

The Promini is from DFRobot and works well. There are just 2 things to consider:
1. FTDI pin header is inverted so don't simply solder 90 angled pins or your FTDI breakout won't fit
2: A4 and A5 are not exactly in line with the board. Normal pins would lead to tension so better use copper wire.

it is compromised...but it may work good, i heard of it, Hubibubi did it too.
Well but 8" is a good size for the spider, nice sportscar then.

Paul,
in your spider the front propellers are 2.5cm/3cm up on the frame, this induce turbolence and vibration, my friend have tried to add 2cm on the front arms and the vibration it's decreased.

Do you know this problem on your frame?
How it's possible resolve this turbolence problem?
How i can calculate the correct lenght for the arms? (10" propellers?)

I like this frame, but the front arms are too small (this it's my opinion)

Turbolences are only one fact. Another one is the length of the arms. The longer they are, the more vibrations you will have. On the flyduspider you will notice that the front arms will not vibrate while the long rear arms will badly vibrate.
