Another AEF in the books.

Thanks to all who came out to the AEF 2011. We have a total of 218 registered pilots. I want to thanks Aaron for being CD this year and all of the workers of the Arizona Model Aviators and Gilbert Quiet Fliers who worked at the event.
Please add any thoughts, concerns, or improvements we can look at for next year!

All was great again this year, A big Thank you to all who made this event possible.
Standing in line to fly seemed to take a bit longer this year, but it was all worth it to watch all the cool stuff in the air.
Let's do it again next year.

I think it went great. Lots of fun catching up with people you don't see very often. Maybe next year we can have some time set aside for edf jets, there seems to be alot more around now. I know that has been a topic in the past. Hats off to Scott from xps, Chris from JHH and even you Mr. Ruff. You guys mixed it up with the general flying, I wish I could have but I can't afford a mid air. Maybe the 3d guys wouldn't mind it since they wouldn't have to worry about being hit by an edf. Just a thought, not everyone can have there own solo time slot!

Great Event, seeing friends again and making new ones is what the hobby is about.

It would be nice like have a set time for edf's, maybe like the B2, he got his own slot. Maybe we can apply.

Till next time.

This year's festival was great. I know there was some concern a month ago when pre-registration was way off from previous years. But, I think the final count was 218 pilots!?!?! And I heard somewhere around 630 cars in the parking lot on Saturday... WOW!!! This year's Friday was like last year's Saturday!

Aside from a windy Thursday, the weather was unbelievable!

Hats off to all those who were involved in the event...

I had looked forward to this years event for what seemed like forever. Meeting so many great people doing the preregistration increased my anticipation even more.

WOW, this year's event did not disappoint! Great friends, great plane, and great weather.

And with the tribute to George Joy it just made the whole weekend special.

The only thing i didnt like (being a spectator) is whenever they call the next round of pilots Ex: 190-199 the announcer would announce everynumber inbetween 191 192 193 194..... etc.

But great event, It was my first year at AEF and saturday was really busy wow! ran out of bleacher space.

Thanks to Aaron and the entire team for another great event. It was good to see so many planes and pilots and the weather was pretty darned hard to beat. I would also like to say thanks to the sponsor's and the vendors at this years show they really do help make the show as good as it is.

All in all a top notch Congratulations!!

Travelling around the country, I get to 'drop in' on quite a number of RC events every year.

Yours was the best ever so far, yes 2011, but 2010 as well.

You guys rock!

To Aaron and his great committee, I drove over 1600 miles to attend this event and every mile was worth it. I thought it was well organized and every volunteer deserves a BIG thankyou. Looking forward to seeing all of you next year. Dick Andersen

Where do you start. What a great weekend. Weather was great, flying was great, talking with all the people was was just great.

There is always good things you remember about a show and the one that comes to mind is a young man who I believe his name was Corey. Everytime I turned around he was out flying his little F22 having a blast. I think the only reason he lands is to charge otherwise he would still be flying.

Thanks to all for everthing and see you next year.
