Question

Which Flybarless System

Hi All

I have a Raptor E-550, flying with STD motor and ESC, 6S 5000mAh lipo and Kasama metal head.

1. Which flybarless system would you guys recommend and where would be the best place to purchase such a system?

2. What distant should pitch lever be from the metal blade grip centerline?

Looking forward to your input.

Greg

CGY750 is probably the best. I have one on the way.
Tower has a $50 discount if you are a club member. http://www.futaba-rc.com/radioaccys/futm0835.html

If you are a beginner and need the auto-leveling function get the SK720. I have two of those and they are sweet.

I'd love to see how the Futaba fair with existing offerings. Although not the first, they usually come out with the best.

For best bang for the buck, my vote still goes to Align 3G.

So far the easiest to set up for me has been the BeastX and it is very reasonable price wise. Stupid simple... (I've had the hardest - Turnigy FS600 - great if you have the time to mess with it, but a PITA to learn)

Not tried the Futaba, but hate the remote sensors they have, BeastX is tiny and works AWESOME (I cant stress that enough). I have it on everything from a micro to a 600.

Don't recall if the winner of the 3d Masters or the XFC was using it, one was - it's a serious piece of equipment.

You can get it from anyone that sells Horizon products, including your LHS.

You will not regret purchasing it.

EDIT:

Re-Edit - just looks like they are moving the ball link closer to the spindle while retaining the ratio; as the longer standoffs generate the similar ratio... Interesting...

Thanks to everyone for your advice and replies. I have decided to go with the Beastx.

Next question is can I modify my kasama head for flybarless use? Any ideas?
