sale price does make the model more reasonably price. original price is tad high. i am sure with upcoming holiday, it's intended to move excess inventories. I've already seen several vendors lowering price on many models. Many of those I've seen price lowered seems to be on relatively slower moving model in the year.

anyone know potential discount for upcoming black friday for 3dhs? wouldn't mine grabbing 1 or several models on my wish listff

Spare landing gear - 42" slick

I found out today 42" slick gear will work for 3dhs bype if you're in a crunch and don't have a spare laying around. Screw slots fit perfectly. I believed land gear seat about 1/2" shorter than default gear and you would have to enlarge the hole for the wheels. Other than that, should be a good spare if need be. Should work fine with 14x7 prop.

Just as a matter of mentioning....if you want to use a receiver like the Spektrum AR7000, (or any receiver with the servo sockets on the end) if you glue the receiver mounting piece the 3DHS supplies right at the back edge of the battery tray up to the rudder servo tray it work perfectly. There is enough room for the servo leads and makes the socket for them easy to get to...

And whoever it was that said you need small hands to work on this pane is absolutely correct..(or at least it would sure help.)

great flight but where are the peelers?

only rusty move i noticed was the one wrong rudder on the low rolling pass, more skill rusty than 95% of the rest of the flyers that will buy this plane.

Especially me when I can afford one. It's the next big purchase when I crash my AMR....... please don't tell it, that might (will) happen someday. It hangs above our bed and watches us.:censor ed:

Hi Steve,

What brand of servo arm is that you have mounted on the pull-pull for the rudder servo?

Best Regards,
TC

Edit:
Ahhh...I found them. Had no idea Hitec had their own version (I'm assuming that's their 55710 now that I went searching)
Been using the Dubro 672's for a long time...never noticed the actual Hitec/RCD packages in any of our local shops.
Easy enough to pick up online now that I know what to look for.
The black would "look better" in some cases so I'll give 'em a try. Thanks for posting that picture...learn something new every day

I am using HS-85MG servos in my plane, and the servo arms are Hitec's, just from other servos...I have a whole box full of them as on the larger planes, I use aluminum arms...
