Maiden was a success, going to need quite a bit of tweaking to get cg and KE all set up, but this thing flys great, spins like mad and lands like a kitten. Boring maiden Video uploading

Congrats 3DHS! I can't imagine how much time and effort went into getting this model from drawing board to everyone's grimy little thumbs. Must be very satisfying.

How far did you overlap the fairing on the gear? And did you glue all the way up the fuse?

I like to use Zap-A-Dap-a-goo for things like this, as it is just a little bit flexible, and it has a very tenacious grip!!

I overlapped mine all the way to the edge, gave more glueing surface.

+1 but I used tape instead of glue, not very pretty, but the fairing didn't sit flush with the fuse at the trailing edge so I thought tape would be easier
