Hey guys, I'm not sure if I am even suppose to post this. But I came across a couple of PNP e-flite Hurricanes on ebay for 149.99 with free shipping. Not as good a price as some of you got but still a great deal. If anybody still wants one, this would be a good chance to pick one up.

My money says they are from people who picked them up for $110 and trying to turn a buck.

I would bet that too, either way it is better than the regular deal that was available last month.

Or just change the prop and retain your 4s...

That's what I run. The power is more than adequate, with better flight times than with 3s, even with a 2800mah. For performance more like the stock setup on 4s, an 11x6 would work. I'm going to test an 11x8.5, and see if can get a tad more power with (hopefully) not too much more current draw.

How does batteries in parallel make a difference in amp draw vs one solid battery? I got no problem making my prop smaller too, is .5 that much of a difference in amps?

Im going to make sure that my ESC is configured right, is stock settings for an 80 amp ESC set up for 3s? I ask because I notice in the manual it states that the timing is 15 degrees which I think is 6 poles by their manual which I assume is related to the cell count? Any help on this is appreciated.

Motor timing is also related to wind type (y or d)... D winds normally enjoy lower timing, y winds normally higher timing. 7.5 is normally a safe starting point if wind type is not known. The wrong timing per wind will result in more heat/amp w/o gain in performance.

Since15 degrees is stock settings, should I assyme that means neutral for wind then? Im just afraid that the esc wont be calibrated for 4s.
