Damen AXE Bow concept (40 metre Patrol boat)

A new Scratch build, like I need to start another boat, the Acheron will have to wait until some info comes through

1200 mm long and 180 mm beam

Couple more shots of the frames. Have a furfy in one frame that causes the chine to dip at that frame, I will have to look into that.

I did get a little curry from SWMBO over the placement for the photo's

It looks as if the image Umi has put up has been photo-shopped ? from a conventional bow.

Probably going to be 2 shaft even thought the drawings show three or four.

Looks interesting Mate!
I could start on about doing another build but I'm as bad as You! Keep it simple 2 shafts is pretty effective for a model that size.

Retired for now
MMMMM,furfy and curry. Sounds like a nice cool drink. If your boats get any bigger you'll have to clean out that garage Nick. Looks like a few other projects going on there too. Another neat model coming right up. Pete

I do too. That is why I have several prodjects started and awaiting to be finished in various stages.
Going to be neat build. Will be interesting to see how this one will behave in the water once done.

So will it be an offshore support vessel, or a yacht support vessel, or a yacht?
