Thread OP
My bench is covered in v400 parts. I've been slowly takeing things apart and slowly putting things together. Im building a 'not so super' v400 using the tgy90s and the stock frame first. It will have to keep the stock esc but i will be testing the brushless tail with the stevechip on it. If it does not work then i'll go back to the stock tail on it as well. I got two cf booms cut and still need to cut the cf upper frames for the super build. I've got two weeks off, so i should be makeing some progress soon.

Hmmmm . . . I find it interesting that my V400 drifts all over the place while hovering whereas my new 450 Pro clone with the Rx2702 just pretty much sits in one place. I wonder why the difference?

No idea, i also didn't see that much of a difference with the two rx's. Glad to hear you got your bird in the air though!

On the bench

On the bench this week, is a mess of v400 parts. Hopefully by the end of the week i'll have at least one v400 to fly again.

Well, my V400 is flying the way I always remember it flying--I have to contantly work to keep in in one spot. I thought that was normal for a CP bird, but now that I spooled up my new Rx2702 I am wondering if the ole V400 needs a tune-up. Yes, I the Rx2702 required constant attention to keep it still, too, but it seemed way more stable than my V400. Maybe it's because the 450 Pro is heavier than the V400?

Will a 450 canopy fit the v400?

really ??? they fit ??? horse crap !

just got my new Dynam 9g Servo 60P-DY servos, they DO NOT fit, they are to wide so the servo holder wont go in so it can screw to the heli, they also dont have holes to mount but slots and the holes are off any way . hell i just ordered the cheap stock ones. also the the damn battery adapter from 4mm to 3.5 mm got here but thanks to walkera screwing everyone by turning there wiring around backwards i had to cut it apart and put black to red. BUT before i realized this i plugged in the blue lipo and fried the frigging cheap ass motor ! i could and should have just bought a new v400 as i have put enough into this one in upgrades to buy a damn new one !!!

Sorry to hear about your misfortunes there, but those servos do fit... I have been flying with them for a couple weeks now. Like I said you will need to drill new mounting holes.

I put my v450 canopy on my v400. I just had to redrill 2 holes. It actually made the cg better and i was able to put the battery further back, looks a bunch meaner also , grrrrrrrrrrrrr

I think it may be the speed and size of the blades, they just keep getting bigger and more stable. Lolol. Muhahahahahaha

Nice!! Good to hear I'm gonna order me one. The stock one already cracked from just taking on and off, no crashes, and I'm careful... Just cheap
