I am a long time packers fan from the 60s! Jerry Kramer was my hero! #64 played during the 60s and l would pull out of the line for a sweep around end knocking people out of bounds. I was a big Favre fan until he started the "will I play? OK....ummm....no.....ummm ok" That drove me crazy. I have the new Pack jersey of Mathews with the superbowl patch on it. Ok....I have babbled enough about my Packers.

Wow....you lucky dog! I remember my brothers who were much old than me yelling a screaming when Jerry Kramer and Fuzzy Thurston would pull out of the line and just reak havoc on the defensive ends and outside linebackers. Jerry's book "Instant Replay" is an oldie but goodie. Cheese Heads Rule Man!!!! Are we going to have a season????

OK guys what are the throws for the surfaces and Joe don't you have a hang angle video. I had to recover the blades! I used Ultracote not happy with the results. I always use Monokote not sure why I strayed.

Anyway just need to get it balanced and I think we are ready....

I've looked at it long enough! Now just waiting for a little cooler day

Cheers,

Matt

THROWS:

Here's the high rates. I normally fly it like this.

Aileron: 1 1/4 inches throw from center. 30 % expo
Elevator: 2.5 inches from center 50% exp
Rudder: 1 3/4 inches 45%expo

Need anything else Matt?

My suggestion is not go out and plan to fly....just do long hops down the field. Grass field preferable. Don't rush the blades.

Realize that after you get it flying, rudder is your friend. Trim with ailerons at cruise speed....get it where you are going with rudder. After you land and you realize that you have aileron trim that is not level with your wing, it means you need to adjust the tilt of your blades...left or right.

Got it! Good luck man!

Guys,

I did a couple of high speed taxies yesterday After the third one.......

The glow plug blew out!!! I must have hand tightened it after the bench and never checked it "GD" it!!! No damage I had to quit right after. We had a club meeting at the field..

Anyway it took the last taxi to get any head speed Of course no wind so I was running out of runway which is 900 ft of putting green

Well it will be next week before I can try again. 4" wheels may be be too small LOL

The guys at the field had no idea what it even was. One guy thought the rotor was for looks and didn't even rotate! (Kentucky) what can I say..

Let you know know how it goes

The Glow Plug

Why would I bring a spare it was brand new

You should have seen us looking for it in the grass Like a bunch of mental patients

Hysterical

It must have gone where all of my other black socks are
