I was going through mini warbird thread withdrawals. Looks like H1Hobby has the kit version of the AT-6 and P-51 nice!

GROUP HUG !!!!!!!!!!

I hope we can get on getting on ,

As I previously said I'd really like to see one modded with mini retracts.
I'm not gonna go0 there as Lg is just a no no flying out of the trenches i happen to call a field... would like to see the mod though.

I need that spitfire !!

as a side note i picked this up in our local supermarket - 130 pages of P-51 goodness and lots of history on A/B/C/D models... Plus some stunning photos & pilot recollections

I did, and I'm thinking about buying the VooDoo scheme for my parkzone p-51. I know it's off topic, but does anyone know the correct scale for the grey/green Parkzone P-51 (latest model)?

Thx,
J

That would be a neat kinda mod as well to see someone make a b model those turtle backs wouldnt be hard to glue some blue core to and sand down. And dont fret i ordered a set of those gws micro retracts just to add some asthetics not a necessity or requirement just cause i think it be neat to see such a small plane with retracts. Im not a scale nut. Just to see if it can be done!!!

These warbirds at same price point as HH UM's

Wonder if folks will start debating the merits of these planes vs. the Parkzone UM's? They are priced exactly the same right now...

I guess some will argue different market as the Parkzone ones are more backyard flyers vs. these park flyers

There are many who like the Parkzone UM T-28 - but I just pulled the trigger on the Sky Angel mini T-28...

ya thats the biggest difference. they are similar in size(barely) but have vastly different flying habits and requirements.

So...I'm tempted to pull the trigger on a new Mustang. The wait for the Spitfire is killing me. Being impatient is very expensive
Pull it. I just got my Mustang yesterday. I hope to maiden her in about 30 minutes. It's a well built kit for the money.

Well, the wingspan of the UM Mustang, Corsair, T-28 etc and the Sky Angel planes is about a 10" difference. Too me, that is significant. Yes, they are priced pretty much the same. With the PZ planes, you get a bit better quality, but more importantly, customer service. BUT, with the Sky Angel, you get size and a plane(s) that handels the wind better. So, for me, it was a win win situation!
