I have dymond D-60's in my light one and Airtronics 802's in my spread tow one,,the 802's are ds095 clones.

anyway they must be thin and center properly in this plane to have a good result

So how are the regular glass Pokeys holding up? My tax return arrived and I have had my eye on these for a while. How well do they fly frontside in less then 10 but with good lift?

The glass pokey is a great light air flyer,I think my light one is 11 oz. and will even thermal.

Nice save in the video, Nick. Those of us who have flown at NCAR know what it's like to lose lift down there, and it can be tricky to find a small thermal and be able to save it back to the top. Nice job with a plank that quick in the air.....

Sorry for the thread necrophilia guys but I have just taken delivery of my Poky DS and was looking for some help with servo horn placement.
I bought the MKS servos with the airframe direct from Stratair and am just trying to work out where to put the servo horns.
I am ok with the control horns being epoxied into the control surface but the wing void is exactly the same depth as the thickness of the servo. Do I need to cut a slot in the servo cover to allow it to exit downwards? I'm used to servo covers having a little bulge to accommodate this...

If anyone can post a picture of the underside of their wing with the servo covers fitted and another with them open, I'd be really grateful.
I convinced a friend to get a Poky at the same time as his first build and I want to make it look as easy as possible so that he pushes himself to build more in the future.

Thanks guys!
