Queensland Floods - Staggering Video as Creek Swells
It was this video that brought home to me what a disaster is occurring, right now, in SE Queensland.

With all that's happened in Christchurch, Japan and now Libya it's easy to forget this was only a couple of months ago right here. I hope our people are getting the help they need up there.
For us RC'ers this pic might make it a bit more relative and bring it back to your thoughts! |

G'day Mr K, I was in Toowoomba yesterday, that photo is of Geo Cossarts and Co (Saddlers and Leather merchants) or Wings Over the Downs (they trade in the same shop) and all of those shops are still boarded up ( even the Pub much to my dismay). Apart from that there isn't much evidence that I saw of the flood, mind you I was only passing through on my way to Oakey, they've done a magnificent job of cleaning it up. Toowoomba is probably the greenest I've seen in nearly 20 years
