Show us your FPV Multicopter

I know a few have been posted here and there in the Airplane thread of a similar namesake, but I would like to see a good collection in one place. Mainly as references as to how to setup a multicopter for FPV considering its unique layout considerations for distance between RF parts and such.

The airplane thread has been pretty instrumental in showing how people are managing certain airframes, so I think a multicopter one would be beneficial to anyone interested in getting into it.

I have a signguy tricopter that I put FPV gear on, but have since removed it to rework a few things.

I've got a homebrew FPV tricopter in the works. Looking forward to posting some pics when it's done, and also seeing some other people's rigs.

Is the gopro upside down? Are you just flipping the recorded clips with software?

Yes the gopro is upside down, but the firmware upgrade lets you film upside down without having to use software to flip it afterwards.

I've just ordered a bunch of parts to make my own T shaped, Arduino Pro Mini, Wii Motion Plus + Nunchuck based tricopter.
It'll be made from wood so as to keep it simple

Most parts are with me and hope to get it ready over the next week or so.
I'll be flying 2.4GHz Frsky R/C and lightweight homebrew 5.8GHz video and camera - nothing more!
The intention is to make it small-ish so I can fly out of the back yard with no need to haul everything to the flying field.

I'd really appreciate it if everbody gave a brief overview on sizes they used for their frame, motors, ESC etc.

I'm thinking 15" (39cm) between motors, 1000kv motors, 18A ESC and 8x4 props.

Nigel.

Mine is based on signguy's specs exactly. IIRD:C
20" radius
RC Timer 750kv Motors
30A Hobbywing ESC (Programmable)
HK401B Gyros x 3
10-11x3.8 or 4.7SF props (Currently I use 11x3.8SF)
FASST 2.4 7CH Control
FH 900mhz 50mwVtx
GP-cx161 Camera

Here is his thread. It has good recommendations on how to build a simeple on that can endure some crashes. Ask me how I know

Mine is a multiwii based quad with Rc timer motors and ESC's with 3000mAh battery, running 10 inch 4.5 props. It uses a sunsky 1.2GHz transmitter, with JVC FM1 camera with live TV out.

Can you tell me where you got your props from please. I'm using the Maxxprod 10x4.5 props, but they are really badly made and impossible to balance.
