Keeper for sure, this bird flys solid and true. It does a very sweet Hammer Head too.

For a production type Arf, it is one of the smartest and quickest to build. The parts and hardware are very friendly to put together.

Are these available now to the general public? I just preordered a Hacker 330SC profile and think I like this better! What will the ARFs be selling for? Thanks,

Best EPP Profile Plane EVER!

I have 15+ models in my fleet, from a Parkzone Habu to a Micro T28 to a 71" Censa 182...this is by far the best flying, all around EPP foamy ever.

It's a JOY to fly, even in 10-15mph winds. It won't stall, will slow fly and, with a Power 10, go faster then anything else I have that's non-EDF.

What a perfect plane in every respect.

Yup... You have put a few flights on one, I know the feeling. It really flys very solid like a large plane. I have been practicing pattern with it, how many foamies can you do that with? The Hammer Heads are very cool!

Hey OldGuy,

Thinking about this plane and was wondering if it came with some landing gear.

Thanks

No Landing gear on this one. I think if I still had the landing gear off my Typhoon it would have fit but honestly setting it down with a little high alpha is lands well. I got 10 flights on it with a light wood prop and not a problem.

Flew the RB a lot today and I have it dialed in. Dropped the 12X7 wood for a 13X4 APC Electric and that is the prop of chioce. I also switched from the 3S2200 30C to the 3S1800 20C and it is very happy and long flights.

Glad everyone seems to like my plane.. more about EOT

EOT models is just a hobby, so if we can come close to breaking even we will keep making models.

I love EPP planes so I wanted a larger one, so why not have it made and make some extras for others. The first run of the Rare Bear is just 50 kits, I will reorder more kits this year. I come up with ideas and pay the tooling so the kits are just for EOT, not re-badged models from others.

That's how it all started, now we are working on a second model that should be ready around October.

We are also working on an idea for a micro.

I have to say that the Rare Bear has become my favorite plane now, it fly's like a dream.

It got featured at a Open Fun Fly this past weekend, I didn't have to say a word. I was at the far end of the field with some other SCRC members and after the Fun Fly hosts seen it, they were all down there with me flying it.

As guests showed up to the event, they were being brought down to see it. It still brings a smile to my face with every flight.

I wanna be first in line for your next product.
