104 availability getting close, more and more people gathering equipment, time to get the thread rolling...
When final touches are in place, all specs will be updated into this post. 104" wingspan, about the same length with the spinner on as far as I know (I could measure it, but the specs will be along soon ). Designed around the output of a 100cc gas engine, it's perfect for a Hacker A100-8 with 12S 10,000mAh. For those with gasser aspirations, a DA100 will provide plenty of power for 3D, but the cowling will have the room to drop in a DA120 without needing a shoe-horn (and providing truly awesome amounts of power on the 120).
Being 3DHS it comes with the full lineup of carbon pieces (landing gear, wing tubes, etc) and info as I have it is that it will also come with: cloth wing bags, two piece cowling, carbon spinner, and two horizontal stabs (3D stab with counterbalance, IMAC stab without). When package, price and preorders are up, this package will also be updated.
Will be available in two schemes, a red/white/blue dynamic AJ scheme, and bright orange variant that is a little sharper race-like feel... same as is planned for the 59" Slick.
- 8x 7955TG Hitec servos or equivalent
- metal gear throttle servo
- 2" SWB arms (8x if push-pull rudder servos, 6x for pull-pull)
- 4" SWB offset arm for pull-pull rudder
- prop sized for engine
- flight pack power system
- ignition cut off (recommended if going gas)
A few handy measurements for transportation needs...
(sitting on fully assembled landing gear including tail wheel)
- rudder height: 28"
- fin height without the rudder: 22.5"
- canopy height: 26"
- top of turtle deck without canopy: 24.25"
- top of the cowling: 24.5"
- length from rudder post to front of cowling: 83"

DA 120 with Stock mufflers
Hitec Aurora 9 with Optima 9 Reciever
Smartfly Eq6 Turbo
2x Hitec HS-7955 on each aileron
1x Hitec HS-7950 on each elevator
1x Hitec HS-7950 on the rudder
Hitec 5665MH on the throttle
Total of 8 servos
2x 2s 2200mah for reciever and servos
1x 2s 2200mah for ignition

I tested fitting the 104 into my mazda3... it almost fit in with the rudder on, if it wasn't for a couple of inches at the roof near the dashboard. But, no worries with the rudder off at all, and the 104 comes with the removable rudder hinges as stock, awesome!
...so I can cart the 104, 87 and another smaller plane (or 104 and a few small electrics) in the car without needing the trailer. I'm quite happy with that
(and I'm actually quite proud of the mud on my car... it takes effort and pseudo rally driving to make a car this muddy)
