Is there no way to make use of HT feature with a Spektrum radio?

Looks like the Dominator and the 3.5mm data cable will be my next purchase! I love the versatility of these glasses. Now they just need to make a 1.2 rx module!

I didnt think that frequencies in the 1.2g range were legal to use in the US.

1280 is. Problem is the 1280 stuff just isn't made small enough at this time to fit ina goggle like the 5.8 and 2.4 stuff can.

It should be noted that the head tracker only works with "high end" Futaba transmitters that support selective student channel mixing.
I don't think this is correct. You can use this wire to use head-tracking with Spektrum DX8:

Good info.
I dont have spektrum so i couldnt test, and the manual says only futaba, which is the reasoning behind that statement. However, its great to know rmrc makes this cable. Has anyone tested it with the dominators, and can comment?

I've read some reports of the eye cups on these keep falling off. It also appears the eye cups would press into your eye sockets some to keep them firmly on your face. Any opinions on these issues or are they non-issues?

FPV Newbie Questions

I plan on buying the Fat Shark Dominator 3rd Generation modular FPV System
from Hobby King but have some questions on the FPV system as a whole for my Easystar setup.
1. Will I also need to buy a tx and rx for the goggles?
2. What camera and mount do you recommend?
I plan on holding off on the head tacker for now.
