Dispute filed with PayPal
Called phone number to TBL and got message "No incoming calls accepted
PayPal dispute escalated to "Claim"

Mail was delivered today 3-9-11.

Received order from TBL 3-9-11

OK, so from the day I placed my order (2-16-11) until today 3-9-11 I heard nothing from TBL, there information on their website claims they will respond to your e-mail within 3 business days is false. The fact that I ordered my light set on the 16th of February and the box says it was shipped through the US post office on the 15th of February has me totally confused. Nonetheless I wish I would have ordered 2 light sets now as I would not have had to wait so long to get the second set. Are they that dis-organized? How can they ship my order the day before I ordered the light set? Im impressed! OK, not really.

I'm beginning to HATE Tiny Brite Lights too! I order on Feb 27th and haven't heard ANYTHING from them! I emailed them with no response. What a joke on customer service! I understand if it might take awhile or needs to be re-stocked or even built, but let me know what's going on!

Clear for Take-Off!!!
The customer service aspect of Tiny Brite Lites ranks as a 0 on a scale of 1-10. The information under "Contact" on their web page reads:

"We take customer service seriously and will reply to your message or call within 3 business days.

Thanks!

The Tiny Brite Lights Team"

Not a true statement at ALL

May as well file it, you still won't get a response from them... Still have to wait to elevate it, then wait another 10 to get a refund.

You can escalate the dispute to a claim anytime but do not wait until the date Paypal gave you or you outta luck.

Oh MAN, I was just about to file a Paypal claim and they came today!!!

HOWEVER, the set of lights doesn't work! I hook it up to my Champ and the plane will initialize and work, but nothing from the lights... I wonder if TBL will even answer my email to try to rectify this?!

Hook the battery directly to the light set. Because the battery should be directly connected to the lights and the plane gets connected to that.

That's what I did, it's really the only way to hook it up. Nothing.

Crap. That's not good! I don't think you'll have much recourse. See if you can find a crimp or break in the wire anywhere. If so you could solder it. Not much you can do if it's the board. I'd try to leave a message on their voicemail and file your claim with paypal.

Thank you for the support!

Yea, I was trying to inspect it this morning...it seems solid, the wires leading to and from the battery harnesses look good, the little circuit board seems solidly soldered.

I suppose the most likely break would be where one of the LEDs is soldered to wire... My brother is an electronics expert so if I can't figure it out, I'm sure he can...unfortunately, he's always so busy...

I emailed TBL, but I don't have much hope I'll get an answer. Unfortunately, the phone # given for TBL on Paypal does not accept incoming calls so no way to leave a message...

They are fairly well distributed...does anyone out there have another phone # where I can call and at least leave a message?

TIA for your help!
Pete

I called a # when I couldn't get them by e-mail. It allowed me to leave a message. I think I got it from the website. Of course they never got back to me.
