I think most of our "simple" setups have a hundred or more LED's.

about 180 on my Reaper- and it is lit very conservatively
probably closer to 200 on my Slow Stick...

I don't even know how many Todd has on his little night plane- But it's a bunch

Evan, so you are coming down for the night fly?

That's good because I am taking the wife out to a nice dinner before the night fly. I might need the "ish".

I do have about 100 LED's on my Assassin. I will have something to fly.

Hahahaha- Now that's funny! If there is some discoloration on the concrete around that building I may have been a contributor

I don't think I've ever had a trip to Art Dye without doing my business on the side of the large dirt pile.

My favorite time to fly night planes is before it's actually dark. Just as soon as the sun is down and light is off the mountains, that's the time to start. Night planes look wicked cool against a sunset sky!

Agreed- That is the magic time- as the sun has slipped low enough that you are in the shadows but the mountains to the East are still painted in sunlight and the clouds in the West are still illuminated and it's just getting dark enough to see the LEDs at altitude. Just awesome.

Dead thread? Too bad- I know I'm not the only closeted night flyer out there...
Night Slow Stick- currently broke- Zach is earning his crash points
Night Reaper- Currently broke, Kevin took me out while we were both taking a line for the target plane last Saturday. Will be out of action 'till I can cough up cash for a new servo.
Night Widowmaker- now we're talking. This plane ROCKS, just need some more batteries!
