So I was thinking of purchasing one of these sweet planes. I was going to put my own stuff in it, but i see in the picture and the Windrider web site that if you get the retracts you get the fans. Is that true?
Thanks

Far from it!

You can have several options, from just the foam airframe to a complete kit with retracts, fans and the lot!

Use the scrollbar on the windrifer site: http://www.windrider.com.hk/product.asp?id=170

Ben is right I bought only the Air frame as I have all my electronics here. And it only came with the retracts no fans so be sure to select the kit that best fits your needs as he has several options.

It would be nice to have "lights" as an option. I'm so tierd of installing lights on my planes. It's so nice to have them installed already. At least have the holes & channels there & clear plastic covers for the landing lights. It would save soooo much time.

The covering is from a local Hobby store here in California
My friend bought it from Smith Hobby Store. I am just borrowing it from him. They are very cheap and will last a lifetime per roll. You can call them, and ask if they would ship orders. You can google search it.
It is a 2" superlight tape, weighs nothing. On the A380, I tried not to overlap the tape, so it is very hard to tell that they are actually 2" wide strips.
It sticks very good but easily removable.
Here is another sample I did on my Habu.
You'd notice that it is so thin that it is almost transparent, looking closely at the fuselage nose.
Thanks in advance if you could let us know where to get those lights...

I ordered a Multiplex Multilight for the 737. It has a steady red/green/white and a flashing red/white. There is an extra port for an extra steady white light (second landing light). Lights are switchable by transmitter (off - only nav lights - all lights). Wires are a meter long, so very usable in bigger models. This system is not expensive, I paid €25 for the set with extra landing light. I can't yet tell how visible it is in daylight, I have no earlier experience with this set.

Sergey, where did you get your landing lights from? They look really good in the day time.
