With the plane mounted on the roof of your car you can fire up the motors and that would really improve your gas mileage!
Looks great! How are you going to fit it in that car? Mine barely fits in the bed of my Tacoma and that's with the wings separated from the fuse.

Aluminum looks great! Is that a real aluminum or is it a vinyl? What is the weight penalty compared to traditional covering? I am very interested in learning what you used.

...I also cant stand that 3m spray

It is a 3M vinyl.. Not heavy really.. Scotchprint #BR120.. Also there is a darker color I'll be using as well..From all the thread reading, do not think I'll have issues with said weight..

Thank you Spyro.. ! Your "nub" description was great and the photos support it.. Wow.. Virtually the same dimensions with what I came up with.. Once I close up the fuse, hopefully all will be smooth..!!

Is there a thread for this vendor Windrider ? Im curious about the order process works. I placed an order and it just takes you to paypal. After that, thats all you get. No email confirmation, shipping confirmation etc.

I ordered four planes from Ming and never had any problems. I used PayPal and I get an email from Ming in a couple days letting me know that the plane has shipped and a tracking number. Planes usually get to my door in about 10 days.

Sweet... I didnt think there would be any issues since their pretty popular planes.

I paid thru paypal a couple days ago and I haven't heard anything since so I was wondering If I missed something or if it will just show up at my door

Last plane I ordered-the Boeing 777- took about 2 weeks to get to me but that was because of some Chinese holiday. Ming is first class! Just email him and he will answer any concerns you have.
