For the size issue, the EDF just able to use 60mm X 4. But I think the thrust is OK. In case to use 70mm EDF, the plane size will be too huge not able to do by 3 foamy tooling and also have big problem to ship. Should I accept pre-order now?

from the drawing looks like 77 " ws x 87 long that's a nice size

I had built one 9 years ago with a 60 in ws and 4 50 mm brushed
fans

very popular model .

As you can see, the engine size is not scale on your old style model.
My problem is we can't use 70mm EDF on 747, because the plane will be too large, I don't want to make a non-scale airliner.
Do you think four 60mm is OK?

NiCd + Mabuchi 550 was da bomb

I would like SP.

But honestly, modeling the 747-8i would allow you to use the largest Edf for airframe size. The GEnx are noticeably bigger than the engines on the -400s

But 800 is too new, it is not classical enough.

Not a good excuse lar. You made the a380 and 787 before the real plane flew.

I can tell you that the classical airliner can sell much better.

your correct mine was out of scale but 50 mm were the smallest
I could get 9 years ago. now 35 or 40mm would be more scale

for wheels slightly larger don't make the model look un scale
the nose wheel on 737 is larger than scale and it looks fine .

making the wheel trucks scale like I did on mine beside looking
good also help the model
