Pic is from a few years back when GE was using a 747-100 as their "test bed" for the GEnx engines used on 787 & now 747-8.

Not quite finished
I finally got the rest of the brown for the tail.
I posted earlier the the brown was of a better quality vinyl. I wasn't sure that I would cover my next model in vinyl but after using the better quality material,,, I sure will. Well this is how far I am. I still havn't found any motors yet and thats why the necells are not attached. (I hate to be cheap but $80 per motor sure seams to be alot for a foam plane) But I will keep looking. If $80 motors will work and get me off the grass,,,Than so be it. Hard to see in the picture but I did cut in flaps and they work well. I will cover the necells in white with a brown ring around the front. Even though it's not on the real plane I think it will tone down all the white. Any other motor suggestions......... Let me know Hoss |

Lil Hoss.. Looks good.. Are they Mings UPS decals? (I still got a ways.. Doing my nose gear doors now) I got some of that vinyl you write about.. Experimenting, I found It can be pulled too thin if not careful.... lWould you have spent the $80.00 money if it wasn't foam?
