I didn't get any pictures but did get a chance to oogle over one at the show. The two piece wing is really spectacular in construction and potential travel/storage. The fuse is a bit bigger in internal space when compared to the D05/6, Viper, etc. We were guestimating that at least 6S would fit with no problem. The fuse construction is very similar to Sergey's with brown Russian kevlar and bladder pressed wet seems. This one looks like it will be great for both pylon and glider motor combos and won't require as much fuss when installing all of the gear.

What would be a fast/high powered setup for this plane?
Not for comp use so no limits!!!even if the power can only be used in bursts this would be fine as the model would be used as a super fast no limits hotliner/racer for insane speed and performance and not for competition.

I have ordered one of these from SoaringUSA but still looking for ideas for a power setup?anyone?
I am not limited by the F5D rules as this plane will be built purely for speed and not competition so anything goes.

You could look at few different motors. The 1115 series will handle the power you want. You could use the 2D (2600kv) for running 5S and a small prop. If you want the potential to go up in cells then you need to go a little lower in kv. I can run the 1.5Y (1900kv) up to 5.5"props on 5S so it can possibly go to 6S with a small prop but have to watch current and cooling. I would like to try this combo on a suitable airframe. Play with P-calc to see if you find the numbers you like. You really have to start with the prop you want to run and go for the rest.

Thank you

I'm not an expert in the selection of power setup. I fly mostly on non-motorized gliders. But my friend Artem can share their experiences. We have tested our Swist with different engines and take readings with Unilog.

Then why buy this over the Jibe or Viper? (I'm new to this class of planes)

Both are top F5D proven models. Although the swist looks pretty sweet.
