Can you not fit your lounge under your work bench, and your beer on top My Swist took about a 12 pack of Sam Adams to build

I thought he was going to be original at least - two pyros for example - one on each wing or something like that.

And BTW Voodoo - the only thing that makes me unhappy about your set-up is that it comes down cool - MORE POWER MAN !
Try a 7X13 !

Ummmmmmmm,WHAT ! Not sure how many 215+mph electric power setups you have played with,or how many parts you have smoked....But the system in my Swist is a flipping Dream Come True for a Wanna-B F5D Sport guy .....Plus the Koch 7X13 does not work with this size yoke, they come out to 7 1/2 X 13....this combo is a couple Kw shy of making that work proper.I am thinking the new DUP 6.5 X 11 is going to be the sweet spot with my new lipos i have not tried yet,it should put the motor to it's safe limit. Now that i do not have to worry about that little flutter issue,i am continuing forward on what this thing will do,that last video does not do justice for how fast this thing is for a 60 second run....If i used my old camera (but still very good) instead of the 1280HD one i use now,it would look like an insane black dot.

2012 NZ Speedcup - 231 MPH
DownUnderPilot's Avatar
I've already seen that going down in prop size and up in rpm helps with speed, at least on my Ninja: 8S 7x10 was 200-205 mph, 9S and 6.25x10 was 231.

The Swist is clearly more slippery than the Ninja, so I'd expect some good speed increases going from a 7x10 to a 6.25x11.

Of course thrust drops because of the lift vector with increased pitch moves further and further away from the direction of flight, but it seems like a nice trade off.
