The quality is good and even for non-gyro the final cost of under $16 shipped each, is pretty good.

If xheli hadn't cancelled free shipping I would have grabbed a couple S107 pcbs but I guess I'll wait..
I received my heli from them the other day with a huge dissapointment. This thing is completely uncontrollable! All it does is spin out of control. The heli is impressive and seems to be very quick. I turned my yellow S107 into a silver one. I have now started to rob parts off of it.

I'm going to try to get this thread back on track with a deal, even though it might not be the best deal out there. 6020-1 from yks-battery on eBay for $18.97 shipped:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...RK%3AMESE%3AIT

I can't vouch for the seller, just posting the deal I saw.

Edit: Pretty poor feedback recently, so buyer beware if you decide to pull the trigger.

I've had good luck with them recently in my last 3 orders. Although, I have only ordered batteries from them. Can't say about anything else....

Well one of my heli's that I thought wouldn't shipped has apparently (much to my surprise) and I'm a little suspicious about the transaction.. But i suppose only time will tell if it gets to my house

6886 4ch IR with sliding swashplate $27

http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm...olesalers.html

The store has 100% rating from 9 transactions... assuming my transaction goes well that makes 10, and therefore I'm qualifying it for this thread

that makes 5/6 shipped transactions from AEx with one of them cancelled by the seller because it was out of stock I'm beginning to trust AEx more and more

Wow ... that's made by FXD which is a known brand. Looks like a cool little indoor IR 4-ch heli. Trigger finger is getting itchy again. That 4-ch would be ideal for learning 4-ch flying indoors before spending more for an expensive outside 4-ch.

Wonder what the TX mode is on this one?

I also noticed the 8011B aka MiniFlyer. It does seem to be a IR version of the RF NE 210A/Solo/Free Spirit/Free Bird:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...RK:MESINDXX:IT

http://shop.ebay.ca/trendysmart/m.ht....c0.m270.l1313

I have been Ebay comparing prices of helis & replacement parts (balance bar, blades, battery & motors) for 8911/13, 5888 and 8011 vs the NE 210A.

What's keep me from pulling the trigger for the 8011B is that for $15 more you get the best value from the NE 210A which offers RF, Digital Tx and good price & availability of replacement parts. I'm leaning towards using my B.O.B. $24.03 refund to get the NE 210A.

I will also be doing a head to head comparison of the fxd 6886 with the falcon 8913. I'm quite excited to do so too because they both fall into the <$40 category but they are completely. Different birds all together! I'm most interested in the difference in swashplates (sliding vs. Traditional) and how they affect the attitude of the heli's maneuvering

The seller might experience a higher than normal return rate as people that buy an S107 from them, discover that they could have gotten one for LESS THAN HALF elsewhere!

BOB has a 3.5 for $28

Guys, this tread is gold, my first post but have been reading for the last 3 days. Just found this over at BOB's ...

BTW ... if the rules R = 3 ch for <$20 or 4 ch <$ 40 does 3.5 be < $30?

Thats what BOB is selling here:

Has anyone tried the Lot Offers from AEx ? Thinkin' about goin' that route
since my first helo is toast in short order

3.5-ch is just a 3-ch with a gyro. BOB use to have some decent deals, but seems they have jacked up their prices lately. Guess they figure the heli addicts will pay more now or something.

AliEx actually has some pretty decent deals ... better than BOB.
