Welcome to the forum RVA!

Thanks for letting us know about your good experience buying through Aliexpress. I haven't ordered anything from them, but I'm certain the guys here who have, appreciate your input.

I know exactly what you say about those tracking numbers issue from Hong Kong. I am awaiting for delivery of a heli bought through eBay, and the number I got from the seller shows the package going to Ecuador, but I live in the US! I did contact the seller again, and he assured me that the heli was shipped to my correct address.

As long as I get my heli, I'm happy.

Welcome again, and please continue to participate with the group.
Ed

I understand the skepticism so I thought it would be helpful to share a success story. I will be buying from Ali again...good luck to the rest of you!

micuyen, Im in the market for a Double Horse 9098. From all the research I've done, it behaves alot like a S107 and its better looking(my opinion). Thanks for the link, if I cant get one in the US for a reasonable price, I'll go with your link. I just hate to wait. I ordered a green 6020 that shipped 12-31-10 and its not here yet.

micuyen, I read a post by a father/son that tried both the DH9098 and the S107 and they concluded that the DH9098 was a little quicker on the controls and the S107 a little smoother, but it was almost too close to tell. Im getting one.

That is cool because I didn't like much with my S107. Although it is very stable when hovering but when taking off, it is so slow. Sometime I feel like it doesn't want to get off the ground . If DH9098 is fast like 9808 then that is super. Thanks!

Exactly the same was here... Me and my bro had S107...tried the Picooz tuning too, but werent convinced...they were stable at hovering, but who want stay in a place, when could fly around...

I have sold mine on next day and now waiting for a similar class as S107 but 10g lighter (U802) and a S026G due its tandem, so a main rotorset could topple the back...

you must have gotten a bad one cause my s107 with the picco is impressively faster, i actually have fun flying it outside for a change after the mod as it started collecting dust before the mod out of boredom

Good! My Numen 809 has yet to arrive, although the shipping confirmation said that it was shipped on 12/29 2010. I did however receive my "Swift" today from B.O.B. which was shipped on 12/27 2010 so my 809 must be close behind.

Received Swift, $16.11 from B.O.B. ordered :

http://www.bestofferbuy.com/swift-3c...etjvqkk5np8go1

Received this today ordered from B.O.B. on 12/22/2010 for $16.11 shipped Of Course this deal is no longer available, back up to regular price of over $22.

as far as I can tell, this is a San Huan 6020-1, the only difference, there is no built-in charging cord in the TX, the included USB cord, actually plugs into the TX that has a female USB receptacle in place of the storage compartment for the tX charging cord. so the USB cable can be powered from either the TX or any USB port. The model itself is exactly a SH6020-1 and it even weighs, the same as my SH6020-1 a porky 40 grams.

I know! I like to see a flyoff between 8911/13, 5888 and NE2010A to help me choose.

I think the USB cable connector in the tx is an improvement because I always felt that those tx charge cables were too darn short.
