I use a DX5 to program the brick, because mixes in a computer TX mess with the brick programming.
Channel 2 becomes the aileron channel/Channel 6 is the Flap channel. You just plug the aileron servo into the back plug and you have ailerons.
You could plug a single servo into Channel 2 WITHOUT doing anything to your current brick and it should be fine, too, with a DX5e.
