@senso of course man, that was just some oscilloscope fun to stress test FreeIMU v0.3 LLC.. doing that in an actual application is absolutely a bad idea.

The Sparkgun board doesnt have the barometer and the axis of the sensors aren't aligned, so in the suposed direction of X you can have +/-x and +/-y all swaped around.

I have retired my old self, and changed my user name to JussiH....

I also have 2 FF IMUS from the proto run up for sale.

The price is 79E per piece!

Also, the sparkfun board does not bring out the interrupt pins from the Gyro and Accel - both are available on the FF IMU....

Jussi, I would be interested in one. I would like to test it with the Seeduino Mega and Paul's Flyduino. Send me a PM if you still have one available. I think I still have your PayPal account. Thanks, Ed

I'll take one, if you still have one available.

What is the current status on the production run?

Sry, guys....both were sold inside 10 minutes.

According to factory the production will be complete by thursdat 21/4 at the latest. They could not open a express slot for me...

Here is something else I got from a member: PCBs and passives for Arduino Promini and a 6DOF version of the IMU that I helped along.

More info about those can be found in Bob4432s blog:

https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/member.php?u=313632

I know he has a few leftover, so you might be able to buy one from him!

I am considering to add the 6DOF to my shop - if there is interest for it!

Can you give some more information about the 6DOF?

- What sensors does it use? I don't know all the sensors, so if you could tell me if they are the same as the FF IMU, or not as good?

- What will the effect be (on flying) of the 6DOF versus 9DOF?

- When could you add these to your shop, will they be available before or after the FF IMU?

- Price?

Sorry for all the questions. I need a good IMU and I'm on a hurry, (and don't want to use breakouts or Wii stuff... Your stuff is a lot better ).

Thanks!

I'd be interested in a 6DOF board. Does it use the ITG 3200 and BMA 180?

Yeh sorry I missed that bit somehow

Would these come assembled or would you just be selling the board Jussi?

Thanks

The files for 1.22L is public. They can be found on www.ffimu.org/blog

The 6DOF files will be added soon as well!

There definately wont be any 6DOF produced before the first run of IMUs are complete. As this is a new manufactorer to me, I still consider the first batch a trial run!

I could make kit versions of both IMU and 6DOF and have those out around the same time as the production version! And if the production version pans out good I see no problem in putting a 6DOF or 9DOF or other alternative versions into production! I am already working a MPU6050 and MPU6050/HMC5883L board. And I am also looking into samples of the Meas variometer sensors.....

But if you desperately want a 6DOF "RIGHT FG NOW"... I think you should blast a PM to Bob4432 - I am sure he will be happy to make one for you @ a decent price!
