iPhone Sailplane Apps

I just got an iPhone, think it's pretty dang awesome, and have only begun to scratch the surface of what this thing can do. Knowing that I'm not as creative as some of you all, I'm wondering if there are any Apps out there for iPhones and sailplanes???

JT, that's the very one I can't seem to find. When I do, I'm sure it (and iGirl Friend) can't possibly help my situation

We all may laugh about the goofy apps available....
but I found 3 good contest timers for F3J, F3b, and F3K on the Android.....

Update:

I found the apps for both the Droid and iPhone:

For the Iphone---

For the Droid---

Now if there was only a vario app and thermal sniffer app....,

It's actually called "iThermal" and it gives you altitude changes for your plane automatically. Pretty good app. And it's free!

Do they have an app for the iPhone that makes it into a decent phone yet?

Do they have an app that warns you when there's an icy spot so you don't fall on it and smash it to smithereens?

Gee, My iPhone works great as a phone. It does not work great as a spare tire.

Mark, you need iSpare for that. But it's $4.99 and is only good for 50 miles.

Yea tk, I'm surprised anyone is able to get an iPhone into Illinois. They just don't allow anything more advanced than a stoplight

I came across a timer a few days ago on the droid. It is just a regular count down timer, not specific to flying. What I like about it is the fact that there is a voice that comes on and tells you have much more time is left. As you get closer to zero, she tells you more frequently your remianing time. I set it for 3 minutes, she told me at 2 and one minutes. Also told the time left at 45, 20, 10, 4, 3, 2, and 1 seconds. Its called Timer and seems like it would be good for practicing by yourself. You can also set the duration of the timer with your voice (and not have to fidle with the buttons while you are flying).
