That's why l have a futaba 14sg on the way. No latency issues, telemetry, and 2048 resolution. I love my 8fg but the lack of rubber grips is a pain in the winter when k have my jersey gloves on.
I have flow the a9 and 8fg back to back and l was amazed at the difference. The 8fg felt so much better and more connected.

Losi... do you need any extra modules or equipment to view flight pack voltage... also do you now the cost of the RX's or modules needed?

Kind of like..how I thought I liked my wife, Until I divorced her and I got a girlfriend.. Then I realized I didn't like my wife at all..
Hah, good one. Man I wish I could try the Futaba to see. But I think after 35 years I'll keep the wife, even if I go with the Futaba.

I bet the 8FG was way cheaper than divorce.

I mess with a dx8 on a normal basis. The rubber grips are nice. It has basicly the same feel as the dx7. The 8fg is smoother, lighter, nicer feeling sticks. The 8fg is much more programmable too. The dx8 is lacking in the program department

thanks man. i would like something allil more programmable in the future. my boss wants to buy my dx8 if i go futaba.

i raced 1/5 baja before i started flying. i had a spektrum radio but switched to the futaba 4pl night and day on that one. futaba 4pl hands down better radio dx3. i knew i shoulda bought the 8fg to start with. just havent seen one in person.

I didn't care for the feel of the smaller 8fg... but that is something that I could get used to. Been flying a bigger futaba for so long. Curious to see how the 14sg feels.

So what is the deal with the 8FG Super?

Is there any difference in the new Super as far as the case goes?

Seems you can upgrade the old 8fg to the super for free....
