You may want to check out ServoCity.com for your servo needs. Great pricing and service.

I suggest 4s lipos of 2400 to 2600 Mah size for the 48". The 2200 size will be lighter but will also shorten flight times.

What are some good CA hinges i can use to replace the ones on my 60'' Extra? The rudder and elevator need new hinges after A LOT of abuse. I'm going to cut new slots next to the old ones for the hinges.

I've always considered the Radio South CA hinges to be the best ones out there.
Generally, if hinges come with a kit, I use them and usually have no issues.
But if I ever need to replace, I go for the blue hinges

Yup!
They also sell it in a larger 1/4 scale size, and by the roll. (3' by 1")

Well looks like my flying season is done. Nothing but cold and blowing from here on out.

Even if it isn't blowing o can only get through one pack a night before my hands freeze off. Once that sun sets the cold just creeps in.

Time to start on projects!

I fly all winter long here in AK... To well below zero. Just got to keep batteries warm. Wind here is usually calmest in the clear cold winter days.

Edit... If hands are freezing they have radio gloves...personally I use gloves with the fingers cut off.

If anyone is interested in a Radio glove and a Lipo-powered heater let me know. I have one and prefer to just use gloves..... Mine does say Futaba on it.

I keep thinking about getting one of those things. Why do you prefer gloves? The last time I tried gloves I just didn't like the "feel". I've wondered how well a Zippo hand warmer would work in one of those.
