thats the weird thing dead, it rolls on a loop. even after i doubled checked the aileron trim and found the left was slightly up it still rolled right after i fixed it. then i took it back up and did dives with just up elevator. no mixes on elevatorv as master, just slave on ke mixes. it wont dropna wing on a parachute also


when i crashed it i tweaked the motor box and the thrust line got messed up ive used some washers to get it back inline but the left roll confuses me to no end. its only happening on the loops. elevator is straight

Are you flying any other planes in between? Reason why I wonder is one of your gimbal pot cables might not be connected well to the PCB. Check via monitor function.

guys, is torque 2814T/605 5s 14x7 capable or still 4s motor?
aerobertics seems not having 720kv torque, so for my 51" slick im looking for alternatives... i dont have any batteries so anyway i have to buy either 5s either 4s...(i would not like to buy hacker and in europe i have to ask someone to send me motrofly as a gift...)

my suggestion for the 51slick is the os OMA-3825-750.
great motor and outperforms the hacker a30-12xl and also the a40-10s in every aspect.
(had about 200 flights with it in the slick in springtime (10 - 25 degrees))

Maybe your lateral balance is slightly off? The right side could be little heavier. It does not take much to make a significant impact, in my experience.

True I had this happen after I did some work on one wing adding weight.

I love Torques as well. Look at the 2812/720 - 4S and will spin the 14x7 with ridiculous power. I have one I plan to put into the Pantera when it is released.... My friend had this in his 51 slick and it is crazy powerful. UCDMe3D has that plane now- I wonder if he would comment on the power...

As i said, aerbertics doesnt have 720... What about that 600kv motor?5s on 14x7 would do?

sorry- misunderstood which motor you were talking about. I would think the 600kv motor on 5S would work- I would just be concerned about the additional weight of the bigger motor and the 5S....you might have to do some work to balance it well. How much weight do you add with this combo, over the 4S and 2812?

I just looked at the 2814T/605. It has a 40A limit and is made for 3S/4S. I don't know if it will handle 5S...and it doesn't look like it would push the 14x7- based on what I read on Extreme Flight's website...it does look to be 3g lighter than the 2812 though....

The recommended prop on 3s is a 14x7 and 4s is a 13x6.5...5s 14x7 probably out of the question, but It should handle a 14x7 on 4s as I think specs are conservative for that wind. Keep in mind it's weight is 177g, which the plane will handle, but the recommend motor weighs 143g. IMO for motor this size on 5s and a 14x7 prop you will want a KV in the 540 to 560 range, but depends on specs and climate. Again I think extreme flights specs are pretty conservative. For example my motor is on 4s 720 kv spinning a 14x7 (over spec according to some, but with over 400 flights on setup). Take that KV 720 x 4s / 5s = 576kv, which should be extreme upper end. Others recommend 680kv on 4s, so 680 x 4s / 5s = 544kv, which should be in the zone. Just be aware of the specs and tempetures.

Actually, i will shoot them email... Cant be that 600kv motor can handle less than 700kv similar size motor...

Yes it would.


Does this problem happen when flying straight and level and you pull up to 90?

Does it happen if you maintain throttle throughout the loop or only when you chop the throttle at the bottom of loop?

What about an outside Loop?

What a gorgeous day to be out flying! We are at RAA, our local field. Gonna spend the day with OZ before he ships across the pond for a while. Wind is like maybe 2mph. Great trimming day and for drawing big lines. ( and hucking low)
